Bedroom closet in progress

The latest creative endeavors...

My in-laws have the most adorable little girls (and a pretty adorable little boy, too!) who needed a room update.  The girls are currently into the Wizard of Oz, and so in redecorating their room, I decided a Wizard of Oz mural on their closet door would be a nice treat for them. 

This is the closet in progress.

Here is the completed closet.  

The mom in this household is pretty crafty herself, and she had a neatly organized set of metallic craft paint that worked beautifully to make the Emerald City sparkle and shine!  (I've GOT to get some of that for future projects!)

Close-up of Toto

 I didn't think this mural would be complete without, at least, one member of the cast -- and who is cuter than Toto?  Looks like he just left the Emerald City after having his spa-treatment.  (Though the eldest daughter (who is four) informed me quite emphatically that Toto does NOT have a bow.  Although I was sure he did, she re-watched the movie while I was still there just to let me know she was indeed correct!  haha  As it turns out, she just might be!!

Oh well... he SHOULD have had a bow, right?)
