This oil pastel was done in 1982 on a very large piece of pressed board.  The image was cropped in this photo. 

Israel

This is a portrait of one of our dogs, Israel.  She's a Rott-Chow mix adopted from the Humane Society and is 4 1/2 years old at this painting.  Her under-bite is not her only distinct characteristic, but it is her cutest.

(The glare is because the paint was still wet when this photo was taken.)
