This painted toy chest was a commission from a bunny lover. She adores rabbits and the particular designs here, which appear on a collection of gift bags and greeting cards, are from her collection. |
This is a better picture of the front of the box, my favorite. It was also the part that took the least amount of time; I completed the entire front in one afternoon. I love it when art flows so easily that it takes little time and thought. In those moments, nothing else exists but what I'm doing and there's nowhere else I'd rather be. Those are rare moments, to be sure. |

This is the back and side of the toy chest. Believe it
or not, the back was the hardest part -- all those little daisies!
But, it was definitely needed to finish the piece. Photographs
rarely do justice to the subject (unless we're talking about airbrushed
models), so it's difficult to see all the detail, obviously.
Here's what the new owner had to say: From a VERY HAPPY customer - I am thrilled with my toy chest! The colors and detail are exceptional. The chest is one of my FAVORITE possessions. Ann Harper Briggs
