Faux Finishes - Page Two | |
Close-up of Kitchen Counter After Makeover |
Here you can see a close-up of the kitchen counter
after the faux finish was completed. This project took just a couple of
days, but they were labor-intensive. Sanding, sealing, washing, painting,
sanding, sealing, washing.
All in all, it was a worthwhile project, but I wouldn't want to do this again too soon! |
Here is a corner of our living room. The walls were previously white, of course. I would still like to do some magic to that corner table, but for now I have other projects keeping me busy. The finish on the walls is a sponge/rag method using two different colors and glaze. |

Wall treatment in the hallway |
In this picture you can see some of the wall treatment in the hallway. (The design at the corner is not my own - it was a store-bought stencil in a grapevine motif.) Again, two colors were applied in a rag/sponge technique. |
